Generating inbound pipeline from scratch

For years, Monark grew primarily through word-of-mouth, case studies, and its network. But after securing $1.8M in seed funding, it was finally time to invest in their website.

For Co-Founders Kelsey Hahn and Amanda Julian, this had always been the plan — iron out product-market fit and positioning, and budget for a heavier investment in web and marketing post-seed. It was time to turn the tap on inbound.

However, neither Kelsey nor Amanda anticipated how hard it would be to find an agency partner to help plan and execute a website redesign that captured their brand and voice.

Inbound leads increased by 700% in 6 months

On June 25, only 16 weeks after kick-off, Monark’s new website went live. The reaction was swift and unanimous. “We launched it and, immediately, investors and prospects loved it. To this day, prospects mention how much they love our website,” Kelsey says.

In the months that followed, Kristina used the new brand style guide to enforce brand consistency as she doubled down on Monark’s marketing efforts. Kristina describes it as a ‘framework’ that enables her to wield the website effectively.
