B2B web design FAQs

How much does a typical website redesign cost?

Tiller’s minimum web engagement is $15,000, though projects are usually scoped higher based on your requirements. Most of the companies we partner with are established B2B brands with specific strategy, content, design, development, integrations, CMS needs, and launch support considerations.

If you have a specific budget in mind, we’re happy to shape scope around it and prioritize the parts of the project that will create the most business value first: clearer messaging, stronger page structure, better conversion paths, easier CMS management, and a more credible brand experience. We know your website budget has to work hard, and we’ll partner with you to create a plan that stretches every dollar.

How long does a typical website redesign take?

B2B web design typically takes 8–12 weeks from kickoff to launch, with the exact timeline defined before work begins. As part of your SOW, we’ll run a detailed intake and scoping process to understand your goals, budget, technical requirements, content needs, and internal constraints.

From there, we’ll recommend a site structure and project plan that accomplishes your business goals while fitting the scope of investment. You will never enter the project guessing. Before kickoff, you will know what is included, what the timeline is, and what it will take to launch on schedule.

We pride ourselves on hitting our launch dates 99.9% of the time, but in unavoidable circumstances (really unavoidable — like an alien invasion or a super volcano eruption), we will proactively communicate the issue and work with you to find a solution or mitigate issues caused by the delay.

What makes Tiller different from a typical web design agency?

Tiller is a B2B web design agency with deep experience in complex SaaS, technology, and B2B websites. We understand buying committees, technical products, long sales cycles, multi-product portfolios, and the need to connect brand, messaging, UX, SEO, CMS, analytics, and conversion strategy into one effective website. We also place a lot of emphasis on customer research. This is what separates Tiller from “generalist” agencies or agencies that specialize in B2C web design (though we’ve done some of that too!).

What kinds of web projects does Tiller support?

Our expertise lies in helping B2B SaaS and technology companies through website strategy, messaging, UX/UI design, website development, CMS implementation, and launch support. Depending on your needs, that might include full website redesigns, new brand-to-web rollouts, product or solution page systems, post-M&A website consolidation, and performance-focused improvements to an existing site.

How involved will our team need to be?

Enough to make the website right. Not so much that you have to run the project. Some agencies treat website projects like a hand off: give us the brief, we’ll come back with the answer. That rarely works for complex B2B web design. Too much context gets missed.

Tiller works differently. We create a clear process with defined moments for input and approval. Your team will need to be involved at key moments: discovery, messaging reviews, sitemap and wireframe approvals, design feedback, and final QA — but you’ll what’s expected and what decision it supports.

You stay in the loop. We keep the process moving.

Can our marketing teams update the website without developer/Tiller's support?

Yes. We’ll introduce your team to our proprietary block builder, which makes it simple to add, remove, and update pages without coding. The easy-to-use builder uses pre-designed modular sections — including headers, text blocks, testimonials, logo bands, and galleries — so your team can create and edit pages in real time while staying within a consistent design system. We can also introduce different levels of editing control, giving your team the freedom to move quickly without compromising brand or site consistency.

How does Tiller ensure our website generates more pipeline instead of just looking better?

Yes. We plan B2B websites around clear conversion pathways, not just page aesthetics. That includes stronger user journeys, clearer messaging, more intuitive navigation, better calls to action, and page structures that help different buyers find the information they need.

We also offer standalone Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) services to ensure that your website remains high-performing in the months and years following launch. This retainer service provides monthly optimization recommendations to measure and improve upon what’s working — or maintain high conversion levels as your products, services, and positioning evolves.

Can you support multilingual translation for global B2B websites?

Yes. Tiller can support multilingual website builds using WPML for translation management. As an English-native agency, we build the English-language B2B web design experience first, then implement multilingual functionality so translated content can be added and managed across the site. Multilingual setup is scoped as an additional project requirement and may affect timeline, budget, and QA requirements.

How is website copywriting handled during a B2B website redesign?

Tiller leads website copywriting as part of the project. We translate technical product details, internal language, and complex value propositions into clear messaging that buyers understand. If you have an in-house copy team, we’ll work collaborate with them to ensure messaging stays on brand while adhering to best practices for SEO and AI search, and optimizing the user journey from first touch to Thank You page.

How is SEO and AI visibility handled during a website redesign?

Yes. SEO (and GEO/AEO) is built into our web strategy, sitemap planning, content structure, and page recommendations. We have in-house SEO experts who support you by identifying priority search opportunities and protecting existing page value where relevant, so each page supports buyer needs and search visibility — across organic and AI search.
