The post M&A website playbook for CMOs
Here’s what we’ve learned as a B2B SaaS agency about the strategy, timing, and technical lift behind successful post M&A websites.
Last month, 1,175 young entrepreneurs participated in our biggest and boldest Lemonade Day Calgary yet! Kids turned the city’s sidewalks, driveways, parks, and storefronts into bustling lemonade businesses — learning real-world skills and having a ton of fun in the process.
This year’s registration more than tripled from last year! Our entrepreneurs were supported by 691 mentors (parents, grandparents, guardians, teachers, and caregivers) who guided them through the full entrepreneurial journey, from learning how to set goals and build budgets to creating marketing plans, producing their products, and serving real customers.
It’s not just the program growth that has us inspired — it’s the creativity, confidence, and hustle we saw on display. Whether it was a perfectly chosen location, standout branding, strategic upsells, or a powerful social mission, these kids were on fire.
It was a rewarding experience for participants in more ways than one. Not only did they build confidence and learn new skills, they earned real money – $251 in revenue and $101 in profit on average, with one stand owner generating a whopping $936.68 in profit!
They also gave back to their communities. All Lemonade Day entrepreneurs are encouraged to spend, save, and share some of their profits. This year’s young business owners embraced that concept with enthusiasm, donating portions of their proceeds to kids’ charities, hospitals, churches, environmental organizations, animal shelters, and more.
“This was my first time doing Lemonade Day, and it was awesome! I wanted to do it so I could learn how to start my own business and earn money to spend on things I like (I am going to get a Crunch Labs Build Box subscription and my brother is going to get a hamster). I also wanted to save some money for a rainy day fund, and give some to help kids at the Alberta Children’s Hospital!”
- Jai, Age 6, Co-owner of Super Brothers Lemonade
With this much passion and motivation, Calgary’s entrepreneurial future looks very bright!
Our tasting crew spent the day visiting stands across the city — sampling lemonade, snapping photos, and encouraging young business owners along the way.
And we weren’t the only ones. Calgarians showed up in full force to support our city’s youth entrepreneurs. One stand owner even sold out by 10:30 am, thanks to members of a thirsty running club!
Some of our young business owners got a chance to practice their PR skills when local media showed up to cover the event. Check out the news article in The Calgary Herald and the TV segments on City News, The Western Standard, and CTV.
The entrepreneurial journey didn’t end when the last glass was sold. Participants were encouraged to submit their business results for a shot at winning Young Entrepreneur of the Year or Best Branding for their age category. Each of these successful lemonade stands was awarded a $100 gift card.
Here are our 2025 winners!
This prize is awarded to one lemonade stand per age category that creates a unique and creative brand experience at their lemonade stand.
“I want people to remember that Lemon Panda is not just a yummy lemonade, it’s a lemonade stand with a big dream and a kind heart.”
- Evelina, Age 9, Owner of Lemon Panda
This prize goes to one lemonade stand per age category that demonstrates business success through financial reporting and thoughtful reflection on their entrepreneurial journey.
“Deciding to share our proceeds with a charity was a very good addition to our business and gave our customers the opportunity to be a part of that cause. As I look into the future, my plans are to follow in my dad’s footsteps and hopefully be able to start a bigger business later in life and help people in need.”
- Tega, Age 10, Co-owner of The Main Squeeze
We’re grateful to the Sponsors who helped us make Lemonade Day Calgary 2025 a success. A big thank you to:
We also want to send a big, grateful shoutout to our tasting crew volunteers. Your support of our budding entrepreneurs was a huge source of encouragement and inspiration for them. Thank you!
Lemonade Day is more than a single Saturday. It’s a launchpad for the next generation of Calgary changemakers, business owners, and creative thinkers. And with each passing year, we’re seeing the impact grow — one cup, one stand, and one bright idea at a time.
